Medical Device Alarm Integration
The Alarm Integration Module enables the reception of alarm notifications from various medical devices, including monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, incubators, and others. It records these alarms and displays them on central units, forwarding them to designated personnel’s mobile applications as needed.
Integration Capability
The module seamlessly integrates with medical devices equipped with the HL7 protocol, facilitating the transmission of data and alarm notifications to our nurse call system.
Centralized Monitoring System
As a part of our nurse call system, our module acts as a centralized monitoring system. It receives data from medical devices, recording sensor readings, alarm notifications, alarm types, triggering readings, patient information, and device information.
Alarm Handling
Sensor readings from active medical devices and triggered alarms are displayed on a centralized dashboard accessible to healthcare providers. The system uses audio and visual indicators to alert healthcare personnel to alarms.
Forwarding to Mobile Applications
Alarm notifications are also relayed to our mobile applications installed on smartphones used by designated personnel, ensuring timely alerts regardless of their location within the facility.
Alert Prioritization and Escalation
Our system can prioritize alarms based on their severity and route them accordingly. It also supports custom escalation scenarios based on the institution’s preferred workflow. For instance, critical alarms might be directed to on-call physicians or nurses, or trigger a Code Blue emergency.
Integration with Hospital Information System (HIS)
Alarm notifications are also relayed to our mobile applications installed on smartphones used by designated personnel, ensuring timely alerts regardless of their location within the facility.
